When Everything Clicks SOCIAL MEDIA 101 class can help!
WHY TAKE THIS CLASS?
Social media and social networking are changing the way we interact with people on a personal and business level. People are using it to keep in touch with family and friends, while savvy business owners are using social media marketing to boost their bottom line. Don't be left behind! Find out what they already know, so you can join your friends, family, customers, and competitors. In this class you'll learn what social media is and get a brief introduction to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube, and others!
SPECIAL PRICE: This introductory class is being sold at a discounted price of only $39. (Our Presentation plus Q & A classes are normally $49 and Hands-On-Workshops are $75.) Tell your friends and take advantage of this great value while it lasts!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Social Media 101 is for people who are new to social media, social networking and social media marketing. If you've heard of websites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, and YouTube but aren't quite sure what to do with them, this class is for you! If you're a new to social media, don't be nervous. Your presenters remember what it's like to be new to social media and are eager to help get newbies started.
One of the coolest things about social media is that it has the power to work for absolutely anyone! Whether you are a CEO or a plumber, a real estate agent or a pet sitter, recently unemployed or a budding entrepreneur, retired or still in school, you need to know about social media today and how it's changing the landscape of how business and networking is done!
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
WHICH FORMAT?
Our classes are given in two formats; Hands On Workshops and Presentation plus Q & A.
This class will be a Presentation plus Q & A format. What that means is there is lots of information giving in a power point format with frequent breaks for questions and answers. Our fun multi-media presentations contain real world examples of Web 2.0 and several short video clips. Social media is exciting and fun, and our classes are
too!
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?
Just bring yourself, as well as some burning social media questions. We like to challenge our class to try to "Stump The Teachers!" While you're welcome to bring your laptop along, it's not required
for this class. But it is best to bring a laptop when attending our Hands On
Workshops!
NOTE: Feel free to bring your own refreshment or snack to class. There are no vending machines to purchase drinks or food in this office building.
WHERE?
This class will be taught in the awesome meeting room at Mercury Mambo (Where Culture and Commerce Collide!). They are located just south of Barton Springs Road, one block east of South Lamar. Just look for the modern, bright yellow building. You can't miss it and parking is plentiful on either side of the building.
